As a teacher of 25+ years I always appreciated teacher guides to go with new books I discovered. After all, these guides often enough have been written by teachers themselves and with the knowledge of what is needed in the classroom. 

 

Whether you are a novice or seasoned educator, teacher guides always come in handy. They often provide fresh ideas to deepen an understanding of a text and help students to make a more meaningful connection to the author and his/her work.

It is my hope that the guide I provided for Books For Benjamin enhances the students' thirst for "real" books and ignites a "need to read." May there always be libraries to cater to the Benjamins out there!​
