As a children's book author and seasoned educator with over 30 years of experience, I am passionate about inspiring young minds to embrace the joy of reading and writing. My school visits are designed to engage students from Kindergarten through Grade 6, offering an engaging blend of storytelling, wordplay, fascinating facts, and interactive discussions.
During our time together, students will explore the creative processes behind books such as Books for Benjamin, No Books for Benjamin?, and Mother to Elephants, discovering how stories are developed and the real-world experiences that inspire them. These engaging sessions encourage students to explore their own creativity and develop confidence in their writing.
